Policies and Procedures

The Colorado Common Interest Ownership Act (CCIOA) has required responsible governance policies for many years.  In 2005, the Colorado Legislature passed a bill that amended CCIOA to require associations to adopt policies, procedures, rule and regulations concerning multiple areas of governance.  Click on the links below to view and download documents.

Colorado HOA Laws

The Colorado Common Interest Ownership Act (CCIOA) and SB 100 are two primary laws that regulate Homeowners Association in Colorado.  High Country Estates HOA is a nonprofit corporation, it is governed by the Colorado Nonprofit Corporation Act, revised in 2019.  Links to the CCIOA, SB 100 and CNCA 2019 documents are listed below.
